1. This Interim Fix can be applied on Operational Decision Manager version(s) 7.1.1.5. Ensure that your current installation is compliant.
   This action prevents technical problems that might occur after the installation and configuration of the interim fix.

Before installing this interim fix, perform the following steps:

1. Download the interim fix to an appropriate location
2. Uncompress the interim fix

Downloading the interim fix to an appropriate location

Note the location of the downloaded file 7.1.1.5-WS-R4NET-IF045.zip, this file can be deleted after installation.

Uncompressing the interim fix installation image

This interim fix installation is compressed using zip.
Extract the interim fix installation image in the folder Rules for .NET Web Controls Deployment.
A folder IF045 should be created.

To install the interim fix:

1. Open a Visual Studio Command Prompt
2. Change folder to Rules for .NET Web Controls Deployment\IF045
3. Run the command: install

none.

The dll ILOG.Rules.Shell.dll is updated by this fix. Make sure it is updated where the web component is deployed

After applying Interim Fix 7.1.1 Fix Pack 5 Interim Fix 41, you can go back to the original fix pack by following this steps.

To uninstall the interim fix:

1. Open a Visual Studio Command Prompt
2. Change folder to Rules for .NET Web Controls Deployment\IF045
3. Run the command: uninstall
