Before downloading the interim fix, perform the following steps:

Note the location of the downloaded file 7.1.1.5-WS-BRMS-IF026.zip
, this file can be deleted after installation.
This interim fix installation is compressed using zip.
Extract the interim fix installation image in the folder [jrules-installation]
.
A folder IF026
should be created.
To install the interim fix on Windows:
[jrules-installation]\IF026
..\shared\tools\ant\bin\ant
To install the interim fix on Unix/Linux:
[jrules-installation]/IF026
../shared/tools/ant/bin/ant
This interim fix changes jrules-engine.jar
. If your application embed this jar, repackage your application, using the modified jar found in studio/lib
,executionserver/lib
,teamserver/lib
If you are using Tomcat HTDS application redeploy the application located in [jrules-installation]\executionserver\applicationservers

If you are using the sample console you must follow the following steps
[jrules-installation]/shared/bin
../tools/ant/bin/ant undeploymodules.force
Find the XU rar corresponding to your application server under [jrules-installation]/executionserver/applicationservers
and redeploy it.

For DVS users if you are using Weblogic or Tomcat application redeploy the application found in [jrules-installation]/dvs/applicationservers

The Rule Studio must be started with the option -clean
in order to refresh the plugins cache.
[jrules-installation]/shared/bin

After you have started Rule Studio once with this option you should remove this flag for a faster start.
If you are using Rule Studio installed in another IBM Eclipse product you must update the file jrules-engine.jar
in this installation.
Copy the file from studio/lib
to the location SDPShared/plugins/plugins/ilog.rules.shared_7.1.1.5
.
After applying Interim Fix 026, you can go back to the original fix pack by following this steps.
To uninstall the interim fix on Windows:
[jrules-installation]\IF026
..\shared\tools\ant\bin\ant uninstall
To uninstall the interim fix on Unix/Linux:
[jrules-installation]/IF026
../shared/tools/ant/bin/ant uninstall
After uninstalling to follow the instructions in the installation section to redeploy the updated application ,refresh the sample Console.
