Download IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules 7.1.1 Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix RS00657 from the following location:
Fix Central.

Before downloading IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules 7.1.1 Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix RS00657, perform the following steps:

1. Ensure that your current installation of JRules is Version 7.1.1 Fix Pack 3.
   This action prevents technical problems that might occur after the installation and configuration of the interim fix.

Before installing IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules 7.1.1 Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix RS00657, perform the following steps:

1. Download the interim fix to an appropriate location
2. Uncompress the interim fix

Downloading the interim fix to an appropriate location

Note the location of the downloaded file 7.1.1.3-WS-BRMS-IFRS00657.zip, this file can be deleted after installation.

Uncompressing the interim fix installation image

This interim fix installation is compressed using zip.
Extract the interim fix installation image in the folder [jrules-home]/studio.
A folder IFRS00657 should be created.

To install the interim fix on Windows:

1. Open a DOS command window
2. Change folder to [jrules-home]\studio\IFRS00657
3. Run the command :..\..\shared\tools\ant\bin\ant

To install the interim fix on Unix/Linux:

1. In a shell
2. Change folder to [jrules-home]/studio/IFRS00657
3. Run the command :../../shared/tools/ant/bin/ant

During installation a Rule Studio is started. Open a workspace with this Rule Studio and exit this Rule Studio. This step is important to reload the modified plugin

If you are not using the default installation of the Rule Studio, it must be started with the option -clean in order to refresh the plugins cache.

After you have started Rule Studio once with this option you should remove this flag for a faster start.

If you are using Rule Studio installed in another IBM Eclipse product you must update the plugin in this installation. Copy the plugin ilog.rules.studio.teamserver_7.1.1.3 from studio/eclipse/plugins to your installation.

After applying this Interim Fix, you can go back to the original fix pack level 3 by following this steps:

To uninstall the interim fix on Windows:

1. Open a DOS command window
2. Change folder to [jrules-home]\studio\IFRS00657
3. Run the command :..\..\shared\tools\ant\bin\ant uninstall

To uninstall the interim fix on Unix/Linux:

1. In a shell
2. Change folder to [jrules-home]/studio/IFRS00657
3. Run the command :../../shared/tools/ant/bin/ant uninstall
