Description/symptom of problem: PM47660 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: Visualization data service is consuming a large amount of heap and contributing to a high cpu condition, either directly or indirectly through increased garbage collection. . This ifix will turn off stat collection when no one is logged into the admin console AND visdataservice logging is disabled. LOCAL FIX: None PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Virtual Enterprise. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The deployment manager (dmgr) is using high levels of CPU. RECOMMENDATION: None Internal caches used for reporting on the admin console were not shutting down when users logged off the admin console. This resulted in unnecessary CPU usage. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The code was updated to ensure caches are turned off when not needed. This fix will be included in the next available fix pack for WebSphere Virtual Enterprise.
