A. How to use this document
---------------------------
  The PTF for APAR UK69438 (FIN/FMT UPDATES TO SUPPORT NEW SSI MESSAGES) and
  the PTF UK46581 (WBI-FN Base summary PTF) are pre-requisites for this PTF.
  Please install the PTFs first.

  This PTF contains the message rule set for S.W.I.F.T. Standard Release 2011
  (SR2011) changes. Since the S.W.I.F.T. SR2011 live date is currently planned
  for 19 November 2011, it must not be activated in a production environment
  prior that date (see E4. Activate the message rule set for S.W.I.F.T. SR2011).
  However, installing this PTF does not automatically activate the SR2011
  message rule set so that you can apply it before the live date.

  This document assumes the following:

  1. The installation directory of Extension for SWIFTNet is

       /opt/IBM

  2. The names of users, groups, files, directories, etc. are the same as
     those used in the "Planning, Installation and Customization" manual.
     If you use different names, use those names instead of the names
     shown here.


B. Changes to your current system
---------------------------------
   The following modules have been changed:
      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/msg/dnfcymsg.cat
      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/res/dnfcymsg.xml

   The following are new modules:
      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/classes/Swift2011/dnfcvcks_sf11.jar
      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/res/Swift2011/dnfcvrls_sf11.jar


C. Post-Installation
--------------------
  After you have installed this PTF using tar file:
   1. Share the files with your run-time systems.

   2. Ensure that the group ownership of the /usr/lpp/dnf_02_02/run
      directory and all subdirectories and files therein is set to group
      dnilpp. To do this, enter the following command in AIX shell:

      chgrp -R dnilpp /opt/IBM/dnf_02_02/run


D. Steps on a customization system
-----------------------------------

  No steps on the customization system required.


E. Steps on a run-time system
------------------------------

E1. Stop all WebSphere BI for FN message brokers

E2. Update the WebSphere MB environment
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  To make the new message rule set libraries available to WebSphere BI for FN,
  ensure that the CLASSPATH environment variable includes:

      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/classes/Swift2011/dnfcvcks_sf11.jar
      <inst_dir>/dnf_02_02/run/res/Swift2011/dnfcvrls_sf11.jar

  The location of the broker-specific WebSphere MB configuration data and how
  to activate changed configuration data depends on the WebSphere MB version
  used. Please see the WebSphere BI for FN 'Planning, Installation and
  Customization' manual, chapter 'Preparing a message broker' for further
  details.


E3. Restart all WebSphere BI for FN message brokers

E4. Activate the message rule set for S.W.I.F.T. SR2011
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  Note: The S.W.I.F.T. SR2011 live date is currently planned for 19 November
        2011. Before this date the new message rule set should not be
        activated on a production environment.

  To activate the message rule set for SR2011 in a business OU:

   1. On the runtime system, log on to AIX shell with the user ID
      of WebSphere BI for FN system configuration administrator
      (sa1 or sa2).
   2. Execute your profile for the runtime environment, e.g.:
       . /var/dnf_02_02/run/dnfprofile
   3. Start the command line interface (CLI):
       dnicli -ou SYSOU -s DNI_SYSADM
   4. Enter the following commands in your CLI session to set the SR2011
      message rule set attribute value and commit the change:

       add -ou DNIvOU -ct DnfFinMsgVal -co DnfFinMsgVal -attr MsgRuleSet -val swift2011
       com -ou DNIvOU

   5. Log on to AIX shell with the user ID of another WebSphere BI
      for FN system configuration administrator.
   6. Execute your profile for the runtime environment, e.g.:
       . /var/dnf_02_02/run/dnfprofile
   7. Start the command line interface (CLI):
       dnicli -ou SYSOU -s DNI_SYSADM
   8. Enter the following commands in your CLI session to approve
      and deploy the changes:

       app -ou DNIvOU
       dep -ou DNIvOU

   Note: In the previous steps, replace DNIvOU with the business OU for
         which you want to activate the SR2011 message rule set.

G. APARs addressed by this PTF

 PM34918      SWIFT SR2011: NEW CHECKS AND RULES FOR WEBSPHERE BI FOR FN
              MESSAGE VALIDATION.
              This PTF deliveres support for checking FIN messages
              according to the S.W.I.F.T. Standard Release 2011.
