For the complete list of SYSTEM queues for which protection policies do not have any effect, see: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/mqams/v7r0m1/topic/com.ibm.mqese.doc /administering/administering_systemqueuesprotection.htm 3.0 APARs fixed This fix pack provides patches to the following APARs: * APAR IC73230 - files truncated if you install WMQ V7.0.1 Advanced Messaging Service to a drive other than c:. * APAR IC73274 - AMS V7 using WMQ client V6 generates error 126: interceptor could not load the WepSphere MQ Client library. * APAR IC74288 - messages are not protected when using the client interceptor for WMQ AMS V7.0.1 with WMQ .NET application in unmanaged mode. * APAR IC74491 - FTE agent connecting in bindings mode to local queue manager with AMS Java interceptor enabled results in MQRC_HOBJ_ERROR. * APAR IC74512 - Client application receives RC=2046 (MQRC_OPTIONS_ERROR) when using WebSphere MQ AMS with IBM WebSphere Message Broker. 4.0 System requirements See the Supported technology section in the MQ AMS information center for detailed information about the system requirements. 5.0 Installing the fix pack This section contains the instructions for installing the fix pack. 1. Log in to the system as administrator. 2. Disable interceptors to stop all communications using MQ AMS. 3. * Using the installation wizard: a. Launch the installation wizard by executing the install.exe file. b. Follow the installation wizard instructions. * Using the command prompt: a. Move to the directory where your install.exe file is located. b. Issue the following command: install -i console c. Follow the installer instructions. 6.0 Uninstalling the fix pack To remove the patch on UNIX® systems, perform the following steps: 1. Log on to the system as root. 2. Stop all MQ AMS processes. 3. Disable MQ AMS interceptors. 4.
