Description/symptom of problem: PM11582 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: 404s are returned for applications that are configured to server static content through the use of Generic Server Cluster definitions. LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Virtual Enterprise PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 404 error messages are displayed by the on demand router (ODR) for static content served by generic server clusters. RECOMMENDATION: None The on demand configuration (ODC) component erroneously removes URIs and Web patterns from the generic server cluster work class definitions during the ODC environment validation process. After the URIs and Web patterns are removed in the ODC representation of the environment, the ODR returns 404 error messages for the URIs. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The ODC generic server cluster validation process no longer removes work class definitions for generic server clusters.
