1.0 ABOUT THIS README FILE
--------------------------

This README provides information about the patch available in this Interim Fix.

This fix can be installed on WebSphere Sensor Events 6.2.


2.0 INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIM FIX
--------------------------------

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

o  IC62149: Track and Trace resource environment class error


3.0 INSTALLATION
----------------

3.1 Prerequisites

o  You must have Administrator access to update WebSphere Sensor Events server.

o  It is assumed that WebSphere Sensor Events server is already installed.


3.2 Installation Procedure

1. Create a folder named "maintenance" under the WebSphere Sensor Events server directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID.

2. Unpack the zip file, IC62149.zip, to directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance.  The zip file contains the files: 
     IBM_WSE_Track_Trace.ear
     IBM_WSE_Track_Trace_source.zip
     IC62149-readme.txt
     WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62149.fxtag

3. Create a folder named "backup" under directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62149.

4. Back up the existing IBM_WSE_Track_Trace.ear to the C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62149\backup directory as described in technote, "Updating EAR files for WebSphere Sensor Events". This technote is available at:

5. Apply this fix to the WebSphere Sensor Events server as described in technote, "Updating EAR files for WebSphere Sensor Events". This technote is available at:

6. From directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\maintenance\IC62149:
o  Copy file WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62149.fxtag to directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version.

7. If using the WebSphere Premises Server 6.2 Toolkit, import all projects from the project interchange file IBM_WSE_Track_Trace_source.zip into the workspace.  
     

4.0 UNINSTALLATION
------------------

1. Reinstall the backup file(s) as described in technote, "Updating EAR files for WebSphere Sensor Events". This technote is available at:

2. Delete file WebSphere_Sensor_Events.IC62149.fxtag located in directory C:\Program Files\IBM\RFID\properties\version.
