1.0 ABOUT THIS README FILE

This readme provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.

This fix can be installed on IBM WebSphere Remote Server version 6.2.1.


2.0 INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIM FIX
--------------------------------

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

o  JR33668: If you attempt to install WebSphere Remote Server 6.2.1 on a Windows
machine where the directory "C:\Program Files" does not exist, the solution installation
fails after WebSphere MQ installation completes.  This may be the case if the language
setting for the machine is set to something other than English or if
Windows is installed on a drive other than C:.


3.0 INSTALLATION
-----------------

3.1 Installation Procedure

1. Copy the WebSphere Remote Server 6.2.1 DVD containing the systems management accelerators to a hard disk.
This DVD has a file that must be replaced.

2. Download and unpack the zip file, 6.2.1-WS-WRS-Windows-JR33668.zip, into the root of the directory of the DVD image.

This will replace the following file in the DVD image:

bin\userPrograms\mq_60_win.xx.userPrograms.jar


After the DVD image has been updated you can run the installation from the root directory of the DVD image.
