Make sure the following prerequisites are in place prior to installing the v6.0.0.1 Business Fabric Foundation Fix Pack:
Note: All hardware and software prerequisites are described in the Supported Hardware and Software web pages for the WebSphere Process Server.
Ensure that the required disk space is available prior to installation of the fix pack. See the Space requirements section for details.
Space requirements vary depending on your platform. The size of each download is available on the product support site, WebSphere Process Server product support.
The foundation pack requires:
IMPORTANT: You
will require 1 GB of system memory to install this foundation pack.
The following describes how to install the v6.0.0.1 Business Fabric Foundation Fix Pack.
IMPORTANT: The WPS_HOME variable is not preset. You must know which directory you installed WPS in. We call that directory WPS_HOME.
Example: On a Linux installation, the WPS_HOME directory might be: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/ProcServer. Within WPS_HOME you will find a /temp directory.
Note: The /temp
directory contains all the Fabric EAR files.

The system prompts you for your username and password for both platform installations.
Validating your installation
Once you have completed and validated the installation, do
the following:
1.
Log into the WPS Admin Console to verify that all
Fabric applications are running.
2.
Log into http://<machine-name>:9080/fabric/app
to verify that the version number in the page footer is v6.0.0.1.
