General description
This is an interim fix for
IBM Maximo PQI On-Premises Prescriptive Quality, version 1.4.0. It fixed some issues and did some enhancement for Attribute target Setting API and the performance of PQ Analysis Job.


Platforms and prerequisites
The interim fix intended to be applied to application node is provided with The Maximo PQI On-Premises Prescriptive Quality server
.

The OS you use to address this fix must meet Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Edition version 7.5, x86_64

Installation information

Prior to installation

The
IBM Maximo PQI On-Premises Prescriptive Quality 1.4.0 must be installed before applying this interim fix.

Installing this interim fix

  1. Download the patch bundle from Fix Central
  2. Upload patch bundle to directory /home/qews on MPQI private 1.4 Application server
  3. Unpack the patch bundle on Maximo PQI On-Premises Prescriptive Quality server
  4. Run the pqpatch.sh tool as the same user (default is root) who installed Maximo PQI On-Premises Prescriptive Quality:

    sh pqpatch.sh <IS_Kerberos_enabled > < PQ_Install_Home >

where the < IS_Kerberos_enabled > value specifies whether the Kerberos was enabled on HDP cluster. Value true/false is available.

where the < PQ_Install_Home > value specifies the directory where the PQ is installed. Default value is /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Liberty/usr/servers.


Performing the necessary tasks after installation

None

Uninstalling if necessary

Run the pqrecover.sh to uninstall this patch.

sh pqrecover.sh <IS_Kerberos_enabled> <PQ_Install_Home>

 

where the < IS_Kerberos_enabled > value specifies whether the Kerberos was enabled on HDP cluster. Value true/false is available.

where the < PQ_Install_Home > value specifies the directory where the PQ is installed. Default value is /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Liberty/usr/servers.
