This update to the z/VM DLA is 1.1.0.0.2. It contains updates to the product to correct problems documented in the following APARs:

VM18525
   The z/VM DLA fails to capture a name for any ZSERIESCOMPUTERSYSTEM OBJECTS

VM18533
   The z/VM DLA requires a target for an FTP of the book, even if no FTP is requested
 
VM18797
   The z/VM DLA was creating both an LPAR object and a zOSzSeriesComputerSystem Virtual=true object in the same book

Installation instructions

This DLA download contains this readme and a gsv_dla.jar file. You will need to replace the current gsv_dla.jar
file on your system.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to the directory that contains the current gsv_dla.jar file. By default this will be the
 IBM/tivoli/zVM-DLA/jars directory.

2. Rename the current gsv_dla.jar file:
 
       mv gsv_dla.jar  gsv_dla.jar.old

3. FTP the new gsv_dla.jar file to the IBM/tivoli/zVM-DLA/jars  directory. The new gsv_dla.jar file 
should have a size of 40222 bytes.

At this point you have completed the installation of this fix for the z/VM DLA.
