DESCRIPTION 
=====================================================================
This release provides support for Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64).
The self-extracting archive contained in this package will install all of
the files and directories necessary to allow the distribution of 
Proventia Server for Windows 2.1.52.0 via an Agent Build installation
package created in SiteProtector. 


Notes: 

    - The version of Proventia Server for Windows installed by this release
      is intended for use only on Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) platforms.  
   
    - This release does not provide for the update of any prior version of  
      Proventia Server for Windows agents to this version.

    - The self-exacting executable contained in this package is valid for
      SiteProtector Service Packs 7.0, 8.0, or 8.1

COMPATIBILITY
=====================================================================
This release applies to SiteProtector SP7/SP8/SP8.1. It provides the 
capability to create Agent installs that are compatible with  
Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64). This release does not contain an
update applicable to any previous Proventia Server agent versions. 


KNOWN ISSUES
=====================================================================

*  This Agent version is only supported on Windows Server 2008 R2, and
   therefore must be managed in separate Groups from other versions
   of Proventia Server for Windows in the SiteProtector Console.  If
   an earlier version of PSW (for example, 2.1.14.x) receives an Update
   Settings policy set to 2.1.52.x, it will display a status of
   Active with Errors and will not update to this patch version.

*  Currently, System Integrity Monitoring does not support the use of
   Advanced Audit Policy Configuration categories.

*  Certain InfoPairs reported in some System Integrity Monitoring events
   are not translated into readable text (for example,
   "Failure Reason=%%2313").

*  File Integrity Monitoring Real Time inclusions do not honor the
   recursive flag, therefore every inclusion is considered recursive.

   

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
=====================================================================

- Before installing this refresh pack please ensure that all current XPUs (X-Press Updates) 
  have been applied to the Agent Manager(s) and to the SiteProtector
  Database.


APPLYING THIS PACKAGE
=====================================================================
To apply this package:


Step 1 - From your SiteProtector machine, extract the contents of this
	 archive to a directory of your choosing.

Step 2 - Copy the PSW_2.1.52.0.exe file to the following 
	 directory (for default installations):

	 "..\ISS\SiteProtector\Agent Manager" 
	 or "..\ISS\RealSecure SiteProtector\Desktop Controller"

Step 3 - Stop the Agent Manager by right clicking the Agent Manager 
	 component in the SiteProtector Console and selecting 
	 "Agent Manager->Stop" (or Stop Agent).

Step 4 - Execute the self extracting file(s), from Step 2 above, by 
	 double clicking the file in Windows Explorer. 
	 When the Self-Extracting archive window appears, click the 
	 Install button to install the files to the default destination 
	 folder.  This will create the directory structure shown below.

Step 5 - Start the Agent Manager by right clicking the Agent Manager
	 in the SiteProtector Console and selecting 
	 "Agent Manager->Start" (or Start Agent).

Step 6 - Server Protection version 2.1.52.0 will now be available
	 in the Install and Update Settings policy.
