 THIS IS NOT THE FINAL README. IT IS PLACEHOLDER ONLY. The real readme will not be created until the driver is published to Fix Central. If you are an internal user and require instructions to install the firmware, you should refer to the internal firmware release notes pages for specific instructions.

If you are using the .sh or .img file, that is considered an inband update (done via the OS on the machine). You should read the published readmes for one of the externally-published fixes (the readmes are pretty generic). 
 
You may notice that the updates on the web are named ibm_fw_bios_ea* and ibm_fw_bios_aa*.  They are merely renamed versions of the 01EA* and 01AA* .sh and .img binaries so they look like other xseries deliverables.
 
The externally-published binaries can be found in Fix Central at http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/.  Select BladeCenter, BladeCenter JS22 (for POWER6) or BladeCenter PS70x for POWER7, take default product and select All for the OS. You will get to a list of recent updates for the product - select one of the Readme links to get information on installing the target system using the .img or .sh binaries.
