THIS IS A TEMPORARY PATCH ONLY FOR USE WITH 7.0.2
It can be used alongside any iFix up to and including iFix009
The official fix will be available in 7.0.2 iFix010

Security - Log4Shell Vulnerability Global Threat need to produce Patch that resolves the issue for customers

This TEMPORARY patch need only be installed on the RDNG server.

To install the patch:
1. Stop the RDNG server
2. Copy the file, patch_Log4Shell_DNv2.zip, into the /server/patch directory
3. Clear the application server cache using the instructions for your application server below
4. Restart the server.
5. Run repotools-rm -clean. Note: This will also display the help output.

To uninstall the patch:
1. Stop the RDNG server
2. Remove the file, patch_Log4Shell_DNv2.zip, from the /server/patch directory
3. Clear the application server cache using the instructions for your application server below
4. Restart the server.
5. Run repotools-rm -clean. Note: This will also display the help output.

Note: Due to the temporary patch nature of this fix, successful deployment cannot be confirmed via either
the server Status Summary page or the About This Application page. However detection of the patch should
appear in the rm-patch.log during server startup.

To clear the application cache on WebSphere Application Server:
Remove the contents from these directories under the profile root(e.g. <WAS_HOME>/<AppServer>/profiles/<Profile>), except for the noted help directory: temp, wstemp, workspace. 
Note: Do not remove this directory, which is required for the CLM local help: temp/{jts_node}/{jts_server}/clmhelp_war. 

To clear the application cache on Liberty Profile:
We have not identified the need to clear any cache in Liberty Profile

To clear the application cache on Apache Tomcat:
Remove the contents from these directories under the tomcat root, except for the noted help directory: temp, work. 
Note: Do not remove this directory, which is required for the CLM local help: <server install>/server/tomcat/work/Catalina/localhost/clmhelp.
