JRE 6.0.16.41 Update for DOORS Web Access 1.5.x, 9.5.0.x, 9.5.1.x, 9.5.2.x

1. Shut down all components of the Rational DOORS Web Access installation: the web access broker, interoperation servers, and the Tomcat and Derby servers.
   For instructions, see the IBM knowledge center.

2. Save the current version of the JRE directory as a backup.
   In the Rational DOORS Web Access installation directory, rename the existing JRE directory.
   The directory path is dwa_install/os_folder/<ibm-java-version>.
   For example, rename this directory:

   C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS Web Access\9.5.0.1\win32\ibm-java-i386-60

   to:

   C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS Web Access\9.5.0.1\win32\ibm-java-i386-60.original

3. Extract the new JRE into the installation directory at dwa_install/os_folder; for example, C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS Web Access\9.5.0.1\win32\ibm-java-i386-60>

4. Delete the Apache Tomcat temporary files that are in these directories:

    dwa_install/os_folder/server/temp
    dwa_install/os_folder/server/work/Catalina/localhost

5. Restart Rational DOORS Web Access and its components.
