Scope
This Test Fix updates System Architect and System Architect XT 11.3.1.170
Hardware/Software Information
Hardware / Software requirements for this Test Fix are the same as those described in the installation Guide for System Architect.
Getting Started
In addition to the instructions provided in the "Getting Started" section of the System Architect / System Architect XT 11.3.1.170 Release Notes, please review the following information new in this Test Fix for System Architect / System Architect XT.
Installation Information
Prerequisite
Licensing
No licensing changes are required when installing this Test Fix.
Installation Instructions
Note: [Release_Location1] is the Rational Products installation directory. This is typically "C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational". And [Release_Location2] is the Rational Products Common Files directory. This is typically "C:\Program Files\Common Files"
- Before Installing this TestFix 1 please make a backup of the following folder’s as listed below:
- System Architect Folder (Path: C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\11.3.1\System Architect)
- SAXT Folder (Path: C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\11.3.1\SAXT)
- SA (Path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\Rational\Shared\SA\11.3.1\)
- System Architect and System Architect XT 11.3.1.170 must be installed prior to installing this Test Fix. And please note that the Installation path set in the executable zip’s are the default Installation Paths.
- Place the following file in a temporary directory:
o RATLC01429675 _SA_11.3.1.170_System_Architect_Suite.exe_TESTFIX_1.bat
o RATLC01429675 _SA_11.3.1.170_Common_Files.exe_TESTFIX_1.bat
o Common Files.exe
o System Architect Suite.exe
- Run RATLC01429675 _SA_11.3.1.170_Common_Files.exe_TESTFIX_1.bat
- Run RATLC01429675 _SA_11.3.1.170_System_Architect_Suite.exe_TESTFIX_1.bat
- Web Share the SAXT_Patch folder.
- Update the web.config file with the impersonate login details which is in the SAXT_Patch folder
- Reset the IIS.

You will see the following message box, Select “OK” and then Select “Close” in the original “WinZip Self_Extractor” dialog (see, above).

Select “Close” to the message box, above.
· You will then see a message as follows in the Command Prompt Window indicating that the Test Fix was successfully installed:
