Readme file for IBM® Spectrum Symphony 7.3.2 Interim Fix 602294
Readme file for: IBM Spectrum Symphony
Product/Component release: 7.3.2
Fix ID: sym-7.3.2-build602294
Publication date: December 10, 2024
Interim
fix to resolve an issue where the IBM Spectrum Symphony host factory provider
template reserved counter never returns to zero once there are no more active
cloud provider requests associated with a template.
This
fix also:
Introduces
a new configuration to enable monitoring of the reserved counters for all
templates. If a reserved counter becomes stuck with a non-zero value, the hostfactory service will reset this counter back to zero
once there are no more active provider requests for the template. This fix also
adds INFO level log messages in the hostfactory
service log to monitor the template counters, resolving RFE SPCS-134 https://bigblue.aha.io/features/SPCS-134.
·
includes
fix 602125 which resolved an issue with host factory cloud hosts not being
returned or terminated, because the combination of the amount of data requested
and frequency of requests exceed the levels allowed by the Spot service.
