Readme file for IBM® Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 602281
Abstract
P105262. This fix directs a child sbatchd daemon to contact an active primary LIM to set the job execution environment (user token or user impersonation) on Windows, when LSF_CALL_ACTIVE_MANAGEMENT_HOST=Y is configured in the lsf.conf file.
Description
Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 602281 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.
This fix addresses the following issue:
A child sbatchd contacts LIM on the management candidate hosts defined by the LSF_MASTER_LIST value, in reverse order, to set the job execution environment (user token or user impersonation) on Windows. If some LIM daemons on candidate hosts are down, then this slows down job environment setup and delays the overall job state transitions.
