Download interim fix 601989 from the following location: https://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/.

4.    Installation and configuration

Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix on hosts in your cluster.

Prerequisites

Fix 601712 must be installed before applying this fix package.

System requirements

Linux x86_64

Installing on IBM Spectrum Conductor management hosts

a.     Log on to cluster primary host and stop all services.

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

> egosh service stop all

b.     Download the fix package to each of the management host, for example, to a /scfixes directory.

c.     Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the egocore-4.0.0.0_x86_64_build601989.tar.gz, ascd-2.5.1.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz, egorest-4.0.0.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz and egomgmt-4.0.0.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz files:

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egocore-4.0.0.0_x86_64_build601989.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/ascd-4.0.0.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egorest-4.0.0.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egomgmt-4.0.0.0_noarch_build601989.tar.gz

Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.

 

d.     Delete all subdirectories and files from the following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/kernel/rest/workarea/*

(Optional) > rm -rf $WLP_OUTPUT_DIR/webgui_hostname/gui/workarea/*

e.     Clear your browser cache.

f.       Run the pversions command to verify the installation:

> pversions -b 601989

g.     From the primary host, restart the management hosts:

> egosh ego restart -f hostname

5.    Uninstallation

If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster:

Uninstalling from IBM Spectrum Conductor management hosts

a.     Log on to the cluster primary host and stop all services.

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

> egosh service stop all

b.     Log on to each of the management host, and then running this command to roll back the fix:

> egoinstallfixes -r 601989

c.     Delete all subdirectories and files from the following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/kernel/rest/workarea/*

(Optional) > rm -rf $WLP_OUTPUT_DIR/webgui_hostname/gui/workarea/*

d.     Clear your browser cache.

e.     From the primary host, restart the management hosts:

> egosh ego restart -f hostname
