IBM® Spectrum LSF Session Scheduler 10.1 Fix 601760 Readme File
Abstract
P104978. This fix provides IBM
Spectrum LSF Session Scheduler with a new command, called ssview, to show the
status of all active sessions for LSF Session Scheduler jobs.
Description
Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum Session Scheduler for LSF 10.1 Fix
601760 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and
co-requisites, and list of fixes.
This fix addresses the following issues:
There is a need for a way to show the status of tasks for LSF Session
Scheduler jobs, similar to the bjobs command for LSF
jobs.
In this fix, a new parameter, called LSB_REPORT_SSJOB_FAILURE, has been introduced
in the $LSF_ENVDIR/lsf.conf file.
When LSB_REPORT_SSJOB_FAILURE=Y is set, the ssview command shows more
accurate task states for Session Scheduler jobs when tasks have been terminated
by a signal or a non-zero exit code.
