Follow the instructions
in this section to download and install this interim fix on hosts in your
cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a.
Log on to the primary host as the cluster
administrator, and disable all the applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password
> soamcontrol app disable all
b. Download the package to
each of your management and compute host to, for example, to a /symfixes directory.
c.
Run the egoinstallfixes
command to install the soamcore-7.3.0.0_x86_64_build601731.tar.gz file on each of your management
and compute host:
> egoinstallfixes
/symfixes/soamcore-7.3.0.0_x86_64_build601731.tar.gz
Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically
backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery
purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to
recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the
egoinstallfixes command reference.
d.
On the management host, add
the ENABLE_SESSIONRETRY_FOR_BINDININVOKE parameter
in the $EGO_CONFDIR/../../eservice/esc/conf/services/sd.xml file:

e. Run the pversions command to verify the
installation:
> pversions -b 601731
f.
From the
primary host, modify the SD service, and enable your
applications:
> egosh service stop SD
> egosh service modify SD
-f $EGO_CONFDIR/../../eservice/esc/conf/services/sd.xml
> egosh service start SD
> soamcontrol app enable <application_name>
If required,
follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from
hosts in your cluster.
a. Log on to the primary
host as the cluster administrator, and disable all the applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password
> soamcontrol app disable all
b.
Roll back this interim fix on each of
your management and compute host:
> egoinstallfixes -r
601731
c.
On the
management host, remove the ENABLE_SESSIONRETRY_FOR_BINDININVOKE parameter from the $EGO_CONFDIR/../../eservice/esc/conf/services/sd.xml file.
d. From the primary host, modify the SD service, and enable your applications:
> egosh service stop SD
> egosh service modify SD -f $EGO_CONFDIR/../../eservice/esc/conf/services/sd.xml
> egosh service start SD
> soamcontrol app enable <applcation_name>
soam/7.3/linux-x86_64/etc/ssm
soam/7.3/linux-x86_64/etc/sim
