Readme file for IBM® Spectrum Symphony 7.3.2 Interim Fix 601639
Readme file for: IBM Spectrum Symphony
Product/Component release: 7.3.2
Fix ID: sym-7.3.2-build601639
Publication date: July 18, 2023
This interim fix resolves an issue where
VEMKD is unable to detect that EGOSC exits in some cases when a user enables
PAM authentication in IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.3.2.
This interim fix also introduces a new
parameter, called EGO_ENABLE_MONITORING_SERVICE_ON_LINUX, in the ego.conf file.
When this parameter is turned on, VEMKD will monitor the EGOSC daemon status
during housekeeping.
