Follow the
instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix on hosts
in your cluster.
Prerequisites
Fix 601349 must be installed before applying this fix.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a.
Log on to the primary host as the cluster
administrator, disable all applications, and stop the SD service:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password
> soamcontrol app disable all
> egosh service stop SD
b.
Download the fix packages to each of your
management host to, for example, to a /symfixes directory.
c.
Run the egoinstallfixes
command to install the soamcore-7.3.2.0_x86_64_build601622.tar.gz and egocore-4.0.0.0_x86_64_build601622.tar.gz files:
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/soamcore-7.3.2.0_x86_64_build601622.tar.gz
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/egocore-4.0.0.0_x86_64_build601622.tar.gz
Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command
automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for
recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you
want to recover the original files. For more
information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d. Run the pversions command to verify the installation:
> pversions -b 601622
e. From the primary host, restart
the management hosts and enable your applications:
> egosh ego restart hostname
> soamcontrol app enable application_name
If
required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix
from hosts in your cluster.
a. Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator, disable all
applications and stop the SD
service:
> egosh user
logon -u Admin -x password
> soamcontrol
app disable all
> egosh service stop SD
c.
Log
on to each management host in the cluster and roll back this interim fix:
> egoinstallfixes -r
601622
d. From the primary host, restart the management hosts and enable your applications:
> egosh ego restart hostname
> soamcontrol app enable application_name
soam/7.3.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sd
4.0/linux-x86_64/lib/libvem.so.4.0.0
