1.    What’s New

       
LSF Suite 10.2 Fix Pack 14 is upgraded for:

-        Support Redhat 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 on X86_64 and Power LE

-        Remove old OS support: Ubuntu 16 and 18, Redhat 7.2 – 7.8

 

LSF Suite 10.2 Fix Pack 14 contains the following components:

 

For Workgroup edition:

·        LSF 10.1 Fix Pack 14

·        LSF Application Center 10.2 Fix Pack 14

·        LSF Explorer 10.2 Fix Pack 14 

For HPC edition:

·        LSF 10.1 Fix Pack 14

·        LSF Data Manager 10.1 Fix Pack 14

Note:  Both IBM Platform MPI (PMPI) and IBM Spectrum MPI (SMPI) are no longer packaged in any edition of LSF Suite 10.2 Fix Pack 14.

4.    Product notifications

5.    Download location

Download from the following location: https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral.

 

 

6.    Installation 

1.      Download the LSF Suite installer (.bin) file from IBM Fix Central.

2.      Run the downloaded LSF Suite installer (.bin) file.

3.      Deploy the updated LSF Suite installation by running the following command:
ansible-playbook -i lsf-inventory lsf-upgrade.yml

4.      To enable a security fix:

a.     Shut down the LSF cluster by running the lsfshutdown command.

b.     Update the LSF binary files.

c.      Set LSF_STRICT_CHECKING=ENHANCED in the lsf.conf file.

d.     Start up the entire LSF cluster by running the lsfstartup command.

e.     If you are using multiple clusters, restart each LSF cluster.
