Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix to your cluster.
Prerequisites
Fix 601349 must be
installed before applying this fix package.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installing on IBM Spectrum Symphony management and compute hosts
a.
Log on to
the primary host as the cluster administrator and disable all applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol
app disable all
b.
On each management and compute
host, download the soamcore-7.3.2.0_x86_64_build601553.tar.gz package,
for example, to a /symfixes directory.
c.
Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the soamcore-7.3.2.0_x86_64_build601553.tar.gz file:
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/soamcore-7.3.2.0_x86_64_build601553.tar.gz
Important: Running the egoinstallfixes command
automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory. For
recovery purposes of the original file, do not delete this backup directory.
For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d.
Run the pversions command to verify the
installation:
> pversions -b 601553
e. From the primary host, enable your applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x
Admin
> soamcontrol
app enable application_name
Installing on IBM Spectrum Symphony client hosts
a.
On each
host, back up the following files for recovery purpose:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/libsoambase.so
$SOAM_HOME/lib/libsoambase.so
b.
Download
the symclnt-7.3.2.0_x86_64-build601553.tar.gz package and decompress it to the $SOAM_HOME
directory:
>
tar zxfo symclnt-7.3.2.0_x86_64-build601553.tar.gz
-C $SOAM_HOME
c.
Check the
modified time of the following files to verify that this fix was correctly
installed:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/libsoambase.so
$SOAM_HOME/lib/libsoambase.so
d.
Update
the $SOAM_HOME/conf/api.log4j.properties to add the DDT logger:
log4j.logger.api.base.DDTSISideHandler=WARN,

log4j.logger.api.base.DDTClientSideHandler=WARN, API
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster.
Uninstalling from IBM
Spectrum Symphony management and compute hosts
a.
Log on to
the primary host as the cluster administrator, and disable all applications:
>
egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
>
soamcontrol app disable all
b.
Log on to each management and
compute host in the cluster and roll back this enhancement:
> egoinstallfixes -r 601553
c.
From the
primary host, enable your applications:
> egosh user
logon -u Admin -x Admin
>
soamcontrol app enable application_name
Uninstalling
from IBM Spectrum Symphony client hosts
a.
On each
host, restore the following files from your backup:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/libsoambase.so
$SOAM_HOME/lib/libsoambase.so
