Readme file for: IBM® Power Virtualization Center Publication Date: Oct 21st 2022 This iFix applies to IBM PowerVC 2.0.3. Note: Ensure that the name of the maintenance file was not changed when it was downloaded. This change might be intentional, or it might be an inadvertent change that is caused by certain web browsers or download utilities. This iFix addresses the following issues: IT41965: Edit Brocade switch fails with login failure in fabric audit logs. IT41969: Storage template only shows 'Thin' option while creating a template. IT41938: Infoblox client version downgrade to 0.4.21. IT42308: Unable to create storage template using child pool. IT42309: Health state of all hosts are going to 'Attention' state. IT42310: Snapshot failures due to backend storage error needs to exit gracefully. IT42311: PD-A000254; unable to add fabric in PowerVC. IT42312: GUI freezes when a host is selected blocking further navigation. IT42313: Deployment failed with error- "Flavors not found". You can install this iFix on IBM PowerVC version 2.0.3 only. Prerequisites:- ------------ OpsMgr iFix IT42135-2.0.3.tgz needs to be installed prior to this. Installation steps:- -------------------- Part-A: PowerVC Instructions ---------------------------- 1) Take PowerVC backup. 2) Copy the included IT41965-2.0.3.tgz file to your PowerVC system. 3) Run the following commands to apply iFix on PowerVC system. A) Apply iFix across all nodes: powervc-opsmgr apply-ifix --ifix -c Example : powervc-opsmgr apply-ifix --ifix /root/IT41965-2.0.3.tgz -c powervc_cluster B) If iFix installation fails for some hosts in Step A, execute below command to install iFix on a specific host. powervc-opsmgr apply-ifix --ifix -c --hosts 'host1,host2,..' Note: can be obtained by running "powervc-opsmgr inventory -l" 4) Check whether the iFix has been successfully applied on all nodes by running the below command. powervc-opsmgr apply-ifix -l -c As part of powervc-opsmgr apply-ifix command required subset of powervc services will be restarted.
