Readme File for: IBM Spectrum Symphony
Product Release: 7.2.0.2
Update Name: Interim Fix 601216
Fix ID: sym-7.2.0.2-build601216
Publication Date: July 5, 2022
This IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.2.0.2
interim fix allows a consumer with hybrid positive owned slots configured to be
able to reclaim slots from another consumer that has zero hybrid owned slots
configured. This fix also introduces a new parameter called EGO_EXCLUDE_UNUSABLE_FREE_SLOTS_FOR_RECLAIM in the ego.conf file to allow the IBM Spectrum Symphony scheduler to
exclude any free slots, that cannot be used for reclaim,
from the calculation of the resource reclaim when a hybrid scheduling policy is
used.
