Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix on your cluster.

Installation
and configuration
a.
Log on to
the
primary host as the cluster administrator, and shut down all primary and primary candidate hosts:
> egosh user
logon -u Admin -x password
> egosh ego shutdown hostname
b. On each management host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), download the egocore-3.8.0_x86_64_build601041.tar.gz package, for example, to a /symfixes directory.
c.
Run
the egoinstallfixes command to install the egocore-3.8.0_x86_64_build601041.tar.gz package:
> egoinstallfixes /symfixes/egocore-3.8.0_x86_64_build601041.tar.gz
Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a
fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup
directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For
more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d.
Run the pversions command
to verify the installation:
> pversions -b 601041
e.
Log on to the
primary host as the cluster administrator, and start up all the primary and
primary candidate hosts:
> egosh ego start hostname

Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster:
a.
Log on to
the
primary host as the cluster administrator, and shut down all primary and primary candidate hosts:
> egosh user
logon -u Admin -x password
> egosh ego shutdown
hostname
b.
Log on
to each management host in the cluster and roll back this interim fix:
> egoinstallfixes -r 601041
c.
Log on to
the primary host as the cluster administrator, and start up all the primary and
primary candidate hosts:
> egosh ego start hostname
