4.     Installation

Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix to your cluster.

System requirements

Linux x86_64 or Linux ppc64le

Installation

a)       Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator and stop all services:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin

> egosh service stop all

b)       On each of your management hosts, download and extract the following package to, for example, an /scfixes directory:

egoelastic-1.4.4.0_OS_type_build600978.tar.gz

egomgmt-3.9.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

ascd-2.5.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

egorest-3.9.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

where OS_type is either x86_64 or ppc64le.

c)       On each of your management hosts, run the egoinstallfixes command to install the downloaded package:

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egoelastic-1.4.4.0_OS_type_build600978.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egomgmt-3.9.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/ascd-2.5.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/egorest-3.9.0.0_noarch_build600978.tar.gz

where OS_type is either x86 or 64ppc64le.

Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.

d)       On each of your hosts, run the pversions command to verify the installation:

> pversions -b 600978

e)    From the primary host, start all services:

> egosh service start all

5.     Uninstallation

If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster.

a)       Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator and stop all services:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin

> egosh service stop all

b)       On each host, roll back this interim fix:

> egoinstallfixes -r 600978

c)    From the primary host, start all services:

> egosh service start all
