Download interim fix 600841 from the following location:  https://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/

4.      Installation and configuration

Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix to your cluster.

System requirements

Linux x86_64

Installation

a.      Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator and disable all applications, and stop the SD and WEBGUI services:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin

> soamcontrol app disable all

> egosh service stop SD WEBGUI

b.      Log on to each management host in the cluster and back up the following files, which will be replaced by this interim fix:

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/etc/ssm

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sd

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/bin/soamview

$EGO_TOP/gui/3.6/lib/wsdl_api_7.2.jar

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/shared/resources/rest/7.2/wsdl_api_7.2.jar

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/lib64/libsoam_resources_7.2.so

c.      On each management host, copy the sym-7.2.0.2_x86_64_build600841.tar.gz package and extract its contents to the $EGO_TOP installation directory:

> tar zxfo sym-7.2.0.2_x86_64_build600841.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP

d.      Delete all subdirectories and files in the following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

e.      Launch your web browser and clear the browser cache.

f.       From the primary host, start the SD and WEBGUI services and enable the applications:

> egosh service start SD WEBGUI

> soamcontrol app enable application_name

5.      Uninstallation

If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster.

a.      Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator and disable all applications, and stop the SD and WEBGUI services:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin

> soamcontrol app disable all

> egosh service stop SD WEBGUI

b.      Log on to each management host and restore your backup for the following files:

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/etc/ssm

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/etc/sd

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/bin/soamview

$EGO_TOP/gui/3.6/lib/wsdl_api_7.2.jar

$EGO_TOP/wlp/usr/shared/resources/rest/7.2/wsdl_api_7.2.jar

$EGO_TOP/soam/7.2/linux-x86_64/lib64/libsoam_resources_7.2.so

c.      Delete all subdirectories and files from the following directories:

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*

> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*

d.      Launch your web browser and clear the browser cache.

e.      From the primary host, start the SD and WEBGUI services and enable the applications:

> egosh service start SD WEBGUI

> soamcontrol app enable application_name
