This
enhancement addresses a client connectivity issue to connect to multiple
clusters when different SSL configurations are set up using the EGO_CLIENT_TS_PARAMS
parameter in an IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.2.0.2 cluster. This enhancement allows
client connectivity to multiple IBM Spectrum Symphony clusters secured with SSL.

Scope
Before
you install this enhancement to your cluster, note the following requirements:

Installation
and configuration
Follow
these instructions to download and install this
enhancement on Windows client hosts in your cluster.
Installing on IBM
Spectrum Symphony Windows client hosts
a.
Log on to
each client host in your cluster, back up the following files for recovery
purposes:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.lib
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.lib
b. Download the symclnt-7.2.0.2_build600658.zip package and extract its contents to
the top-level installation directory.
c.
Check the
modified time of the following files to verify that this enhancement was
correctly installed:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.lib
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.lib

Uninstallation
If required, follow the following instructions in this section to
uninstall this enhancement from your cluster.
Uninstalling from IBM
Spectrum Symphony Windows client hosts
Log on to each client host as the cluster
administrator,
and restore the
following files from your backup:
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib64/soambase.lib
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.dll
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.pdb
$SOAM_HOME/lib/soambase.lib
