IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 600659 Readme File
Abstract
P104346. This fix allows the bswitch command to operate on pending jobs if LSF already increased the priority of the pending jobs (due to pending time) to a value that is higher than the MAX_USER_PRIORITY value because of the configuration of the JOB_PRIORITY_OVER_TIME parameter.
Description
Readme documentation for IBM® Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 600659 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.
This fix addresses the following issue:
If the MAX_USER_PRIORITY and JOB_PRIORITY_OVER_TIME parameters are both configured in the lsb.params file, and a pending job's priority is increased because the pending time is higher than the value of the MAX_USER_PRIORITY parameter, that job is rejected due to "bad user priority" if you run the bswitch command on the job. This is normally allowed because the user-specified priority does not exceed the MAX_USER_PRIORITY value.
