Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix on your cluster.

System requirements

Windows 64-bit

Installation and configuration

a.     Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator, shut down all primary and primary candidate hosts:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

> egosh ego shutdown hostname

b.     On each primary candidate host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), back up the following files, which will be replaced by this interim fix:

Installation_dir\3.8\etc\vemkd.exe

Installation_dir\3.8\etc\vemkd.pdb

c.     On each primary candidate host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), copy the sym-7.3.0.0-egocore-3.8.0.0_build600184.zip package, and extract its contents to top of the installation directory.z

d.     Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator, start up all primary and primary candidate hosts:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

egosh ego start hostname

 

5.   Uninstallation

If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster:

a.     Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator, shut down all primary and primary candidate hosts:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

> egosh ego shutdown hostname

b.     On each primary candidate host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), restore your backup for the following files:

Installation_dir\3.8\etc\vemkd.exe

Installation_dir\3.8\etc\vemkd.pdb

c.     Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator, start up all the primary and primary candidate hosts:

egosh user logon -u Admin -x password

egosh ego start hostname
