Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix to your cluster.

System requirements

Linux x86_64 or Linux ppc64le

Installing

a)       Log on to the primary host as the cluster administrator and stop the ascd service:

> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin

> egosh service stop ascd

b)       On each of your management hosts (or just one management host if you are using a shared file system), download the ascd-2.4.1.0_noarch_build565030.tar.gz package to, for example, an /scfixes directory.

c)       Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the downloaded package:

> egoinstallfixes /scfixes/ascd-2.4.1.0_noarch_build565030.tar.gz

Note: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.

d)       Run the pversions command to verify the installation:

> pversions -b 565030

e)    From the primary host, start the ascd service:

> egosh service start ascd

Configuring

a)       Edit $EGO_CONFDIR/ego.conf file as follows:

               EGO_AUDIT_LOG_INHERIT_PERMISSION=Y

This parameter specifies that all files in the /audits directory will inherit the same permissions as the parent /audits directory.

        b)     Restart the ascd service to apply the change to the ascd.audit.log file.

Only the currently active ascd.audit.log file will be affected. The permissions of any previously rolled logs will not be changed.
