This interim
fix addresses the issue where the mbatchd daemon
cannot connect to the vemkd daemon because the
EGO_SERVICE_CREDENTIAL is expired. This fix applies to clusters with IBM Spectrum
Symphony and IBM Spectrum LSF, IBM Spectrum Conductor with IBM Spectrum LSF, or
clusters with all three products.

your cluster.

Installation
a. Log on to the LSF master host as the
LSF cluster primary administrator and set the LSF cluster environment:

For
csh or tcsh: % source
LSF_TOP/conf/cshrc.lsf
·
For
sh, ksh, or bash: $ . LSF_TOP/conf/profile.lsf
b. On each management host, move the
following files to a backup directory for recovery purposes:
> $EGO_TOP/lsf/10.1/linux-x86_64/etc/mbschd
> $EGO_TOP/lsf/10.1/linux-x86_64/etc/mbatchd
c. On each management host, download
the sym-7.2.0.2-lsf-10.1.0.2_x86_64-build562520.tar.gz package and extract its contents to
the $EGO_TOP directory:
> tar zxof sym-7.2.0.2-lsf-10.1.0.2_x86_64-build562520.tar.gz -C
$EGO_TOP
d. Run the mbatchd -V and mbschd -V commands to verify the installation:
> mbatchd
-V
