Discovery Schedule

Use this page to display and edit discovery schedules.

The Technical Support Appliance is initially configured with a discovery schedule that runs discoveries for all Scope Sets. This schedule can be edited or disabled, but cannot be deleted.

User defined discovery schedules can be created that allow discovery of a portion of your IT network. Through the use of multiple discovery schedules, the discovery of your IT network can be spread out to dates and times that make the most sense for your organization.

Use Show all Scope Sets Expand All to show the Scope Sets assigned to all individual schedules, use Show all Scope Sets Collapse All to hide all Scope Set assigned to schedules, use Show Scope Sets for schedule to show all Scope Sets assigned to an individual schedule and use Hide Scope Sets for schedule to hide Scope Sets for an individual schedule.

As part of Pre-Discovery Maintenance (automatically performed at the beginning of any Discoveries), some functions such as Inventory Summary, Discovery Schedule, Discovery Scopes and Credentials will be unavailable. Please ensure the Discovery Manager status is depicted by a green check mark icon in the Summary screen before resuming activity (typically up to 10 minutes).
