1.    What’s New

IBM Spectrum Computing Suite for High Performance Analytics 10.2 Fix Pack 10 contains the following components:

·         LSF 10.1 Fix Pack 10

·         LSF Application Center 10.2 Fix Pack 10

·         LSF Explorer 10.2 Fix Pack 10

·         LSF Data Manager 10.1 Fix Pack 9 (with security fix)

·         LSF Process Manager 10.2 Fix Pack 10

·         LSF License Scheduler 10.1 Fix Pack 7 

·       The following enhancements or fixes have been made to the installation and life-cycle management functions of IBM Spectrum Computing Suite for High Performance Analytics 10.2 Fix Pack 10

• Bundled ELK has been removed
• Added support for Elasticsearch https connections for authentication (and for LSF b* commands)
• Added support for LSF root security enhancement
• Added support for RHEL8.2
• Added support for Ansible 2.9

6.    Installation 

a.  Download the Suite for High Performance Analytics installer (.bin file) from Fix Central

b.  Run the downloaded Suite for High Performance Analytics installer (.bin file).

c.  Deploy the updated Suite for High Performance Analytics installation by running the following command:
       ansible-playbook -i lsf-inventory lsf-upgrade.yml
