Download interim fix 548218 from the following location: http://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/.

4.    Installation and configuration

a.      Log on to the Linux master host as the cluster administrator.

b.      Source your environment:

(BASH) . $EGO_TOP/profile.platform

(CSH) source $EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform

c.      Stop the ascd service:

$ egosh service stop ascd

 

d.      On each of your Linux management hosts (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), download the ascd-2.4.1.0_noarch_build548218.tar.gz package.

e.      Use the egoinstallfixes command to install the package, for example:

$ egoinstallfixes ascd-2.4.1.0_noarch_build548218.tar.gz

Note: Running this egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files.

f.       Run the pversions command to verify the installation:

$ pversions -b 548218

g.      Start the ascd service:

$ egosh service start ascd

h.      Clear your browser cache and log in to the cluster management console as usual.

5.    Uninstallation

a.      Log on to the Linux master host as the cluster administrator.

b.      Source your environment:

(BASH) . $EGO_TOP/profile.platform

(CSH) source $EGO_TOP/cshrc.platform

c.      Stop the ascd service:

$ egosh service stop ascd

d.      Log on to each Linux management host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system) and roll back this interim fix:

$ egoinstallfixes -r 548218

e.      Start the ascd service:

$ egosh service start ascd

f.       Clear your browser cache and log in to the cluster management console as usual.
