In an IBM Spectrum Symphony 7.2.0.2 cluster, when the selective reclaim feature is enabled, the reclaim requests for different resource groups on the same application may be mixed, and this may cause incorrect reclaim results. This interim fix resolves this issue.

Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix to your cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and shut down your cluster:
$ soamcontrol app disable all
$ egosh service stop all
$ egosh ego shutdown all
b. On each management host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), back up the following file, which will be replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/3.6/linux-x86_64/etc/vemkd
c. On each management host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), copy the sym-7.2.0.2_x86_64_build547203.tar.gz package and extract its contents to the $EGO_TOP installation directory:
$ tar zxfo sym-7.2.0.2_x86_64_build547203.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d. From the master host, start your cluster:
$ egosh ego start all
$ soamcontrol app enable appName
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster.
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and shut down your cluster:
$ soamcontrol app disable all
$ egosh service stop all
$ egosh ego shutdown all
b. On each management host (or just one host if you are using a shared file system), restore your backup for the following file:
$EGO_TOP/3.6/linux-x86_64/etc/vemkd
c. From the master host, start your cluster:
$ egosh ego start all
$ soamcontrol app enable appName
