$EGO_TOP/3.6/linux-x86_64/bin/egosh

b.      On each management and compute host, download the sym-7.1.2.0-cws-2.2.1.0_x86_64-build544740.tar.gz package and decompress it to the top-level installation directory:

> tar zxfo sym-7.1.2.0-cws-2.2.1.0_x86_64-build544740.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP

  fixes: P103499

Usage

After applying this enhancement, run the egosh consumer exportresplan file_path command to export the slot-based resource plan, as an XML file, to a location of your choice. Once the resource plan is exported to your specified path, you can edit the resource plan, as required, and import it back into the system.

a.      Export the plan by running the egosh consumer exportresplan file_path command. For example:

> egosh consumer exportresplan $EGO_TOP/resplan.xml

b.      Locate the exported resource plan, for example:

> ls -l $EGO_TOP/resplan.xml

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19333 April 2 01:51 resplan.xml

c.      Use any XML editor to update the resource plan, as required.

d.      After making your changes, import your modified slot-base plan by running the egosh consumer applyresplan command to import your resource plan. For example:

> egosh consumer applyresplan $EGO_TOP/resplan.xml

5.  Uninstallation

If you want to uninstall this fix in your cluster, log on to each host in the cluster as the cluster administrator and restore your backup for the following file:

   $EGO_TOP/3.6/linux-x86_64/bin/egosh

6.   List of files

3.6/linux-x86_64/bin/egosh
