Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
1.
Log on to the
master host as the cluster administrator and shut down all master candidate
hosts:
> egosh ego shutdown hostname
2.
Download the
egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build537728.tar.gz files to each of your master candidate host (or just one host if
you are using a shared file system), for example, to a /symfixes directory.
3. Install the egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build537728.tar.gz files:
> egoinstallfixes
/symfixes/egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build537728.tar.gz
Note:
Running the egoinstallfixes command
automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for
recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if
you want to recover the original files.
4. Verify that the fix has been correctly applied:
> pversions -b 537728
IBM Spectrum egocore 3.7.0.0

5. From the master host, start all master candidate
hosts:
> egosh ego start hostname
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix in your cluster.
1.
Log on to the
master host as the cluster administrator and shut down all master candidate
hosts:
> egosh ego shutdown hostname
2.
On each
master candidate host, run the egoinstallfixes
command to roll back this interim fix:
i.
To uninstall with the build number,
enter:
> egoinstallfixes -r
537728
ii.
To uninstall by specifying the full
path to the interim fix package, enter (for example):
> egoinstallfixes -r
/symfixes/egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build537728.tar.gz
3.
From the
master host, start all master candidate hosts:
> egosh ego start hostname
