Follow the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in your cluster.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Prerequisites
Your Linux host must include the “ed”
Linux line-oriented text editor.
Installation
a.
Log on to
the master host as the cluster administrator, disable all applications and stop
SD service:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol
app disable all -f
> egosh
service stop SD
b. On each management host, create a directory (for example, /symfixes) and download the soamcore-7.2.1_x86_64_build535362.tar.gz file to the directory.
c. Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the soamcore-7.2.1_x86_64_build535362.tar.gz file:
>
egoinstallfixes /symfixes/soamcore-7.2.1_x86_64_build535362.tar.gz
NOTE: The egoinstallfixes command automatically backs
up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do
not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the
original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d. Verify the installation with the “pversions” command:
> pversions -b 535362

From the
master host, start SD service and enable your applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service start SD
> soamcontrol app enable <appName>
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix in your cluster.
a.
Log on to
the master host as the cluster administrator, disable all applications and stop
SD service:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol
app disable all -f
> egosh service stop SD
b.
On each
management host and roll back this interim fix:
> egoinstallfixes -r 535362
To uninstall by specifying the full path to the interim fix package,
enter (for example):
> egoinstallfixes
-r /symfixes/soamcore-7.2.1_x86_64_build535362.tar.gz
c.
From the
master host, start SD service and enable your applications:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service start SD
> soamcontrol app enable <appName>
