IBM Financial Transaction Manager for SWIFT Services 2019/11/12 Interim Fix (iFix)-002 for FixPack 12 README INFORMATION ================== This interim fix supersedes iFix001 for FP 12. You can install this iFix on top of FP12 or FP12-iFix001. This interim fix includes three main areas which are changed after FP12: 1) Corrections for reported problems: APAR PH16697 - DIC build command does not cleanup orphaned CTRL entries APAR PH17919 - Incorrect validation for PARTYFLD/J in MT300/304 with SR2019 APAR PH17922 - Incorrect validation for MT300/304 with SR2019 APAR PH18360 - Message validation for MT537 field F95a must not limit code word ALTE to one occurrence APAR PH18364 - MT103 / MT103REMIT cross field validation 23B/59F incorrect APAR PH18422 - Incorrect message validation error message for MT565/F95R APAR PH19060 - Unparsable FIN messages not provided to routing NOTE: This iFix updates the software integrity checksums for the modules changed so that the Software Integrity Checker (SIC) will not report inconsistencies. 2) Security enhancements for Web Applications (MER/AO/RMA/Reporting) Several enhancements have been included in the FTM SWIFT user interfaces to further improve the security, like prevention of CSRF attacks, "clickjacking" and others. 3) Support for SAG 7.4 including the SAG Add-On for SAG 7.4 for Windows, AIX and Red Hat Linux x86. For more information, refer to: "Knowledge Base Tip 5023116 - Alliance Gateway 7.4.00 Warnings and Known Issues, https://www2.swift.com/go/tip/5023116" INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ==================== 1) Transfer the ZIP file of the interim fix in binary mode to the FTM SWIFT Services installation system. 2) Stop the IBM Integration Bus (IIB). 3) Install the interim fix on top of FixPack 12 (FP12) using IBM Installation Manager. Whether or not you have installed iFix001 does not matter. IBM Installation Manager offers different operations for installation and update of products/packages. For more information, refer to the IBM Installation Manager Knowledge Center. The following two sections are examples using Wizard Mode (Graphical User Interface/Web) or command line driven installations. 3.1) Using Installation Manager in wizard mode a. Start Installation Manager. b. Add the interim fix zip file to the repository: Go to File > Preferences > Repository > Add repository and enter the path of the interim fix zip file c. Click "Update". d. Select the package group to update with the fix. e. Click "Next". f. Select the fixes to install, and click "Next". g. Review the summary information and click "Update". h. Click Finish. i. Click File > Exit (Web: File > Stop server) to close the Installation manager. 3.2) Working from the command line a. Go to the /eclipse/tools directory. b. Check what is currently installed and get the installation directory. Run the command: ./imcl listInstalledPackages -long |grep com.ibm.ftmswift The leftmost part of the result shows the . c. Run the command: ./imcl install -installationDirectory -repositories where: The name of the iFix you install, for example: com.ibm.ftmswift.mp.v300.iFix002 is the installation directory obtained in step 3.2b. is the interim fix zip file, for example: /var/ftmsws_driver/FTM-SWS-MP-V3R0M0_FP12_iFix002.zip 4) Update file permissions, file ownership and associated group for files that are provided with the interim fix by executing the following commands on the command line: chgrp -R dniadmin /admin chgrp -R dnilpp /run chmod 755 chmod 750 /admin chmod 750 /run chmod -R 755 /iFix where: is the installation directory of FTM SWIFT, for example: /opt/IBM/ftm/swift/v300/ 5) Share the files in the /run, /admin and /iFix directory with your runtime system if the installation system is different from the runtime system. 6) Update the FTM SWIFT EAR files for - WebHome enterprise application - Message Entry and Repair (MER) Facility - Administration and Operation (AO) Facility - Relationship Management Application (RMA) in WebSphere Application server as described in "Deploy the updated enterprise applications" in the FTM SWIFT Services Knowledge Center. 7) Start the IBM Integration Bus (IIB). FALLBACK INSTRUCTIONS ===================== 1) Stop the IBM Integration Bus (IIB). 2) Uninstall the interim fix using the IBM Installation Manager. All lines have the format: inst_dir : package_id : name : version Locate the line for the iFix you are going to uninstall and note and . c.
