The application migration log
in Platform Symphony 7.1 Fix Pack 1 at $EGO_CONFDIR/../../soam/work/history/{appname}_migration.log shows an
incorrect timeout value for SSM migration. This interim fix resolves this

Follow
the instructions in this section to download and install this interim fix in
your cluster.
System requirements
Linux
x86_64
Installation
a.
Log on to the master host as the cluster
administrator and disable all applications:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol app disable all
b. Log on to each
management host in the cluster and back up the following file, which will be
replaced by this interim fix:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/ssm
c.
On each management host, download the sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build528863.tar.gz package and
extract its contents to the Platform Symphony installation directory:
> tar zxfo
sym7.1_lnx26-lib23-x64_build528863.tar.gz -C $EGO_TOP
d.
Run the ssm -V command to verify the installation, for example:
> ssm -V

From the master host, enable your
applications:
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>
5. Uninstallation
If
required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix
in your cluster.
a.
Log on to the master host as the cluster
administrator and disable all applications:
> egosh
user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> soamcontrol
app disable all
b.
Log on to each management host in the
cluster and restore the following file from your backup:
$EGO_TOP/soam/7.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/etc/ssm
c.
From the master host, enable your
applications:
> soamcontrol
app enable <appName>
