Abstract

This fix addresses the issues in the LSF python APIs when using Python Version 2 which is included in the HPA Integration Kit. The disp_app.py and disp_limit.py scripts for displaying apps and limits do not work without this fix.

6.1 Before installation

6.2 Installation steps

1. Uninstall the current python 2 LSF python API's using rpm:
- Eg. On PPCLE platform:
  rpm -e lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.ppc64le
- On X86 platform:
  rpm -e lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.x86_64
2. Install the python 2 LSF python API's in this package using rpm:
- Eg. On PPCLE platform:
  rpm -i lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.ppc64le.rpm
- On X86 platform:
  rpm -i lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.x86_64.rpm

6.3 After installation

Continue to use any applications or scripts which use the LSF Python API's.

6.4 Uninstallation

On PPCLE platform:
rpm -e lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.ppc64le

On X86 platform:
rpm -e lsf-python2-api-1.0.6-10.1.0.8.x86_64
