4. Installation and configuration
Follow these instructions to download and install this interim fix.
Prerequisites
Your Linux host must include the “ed” Linux line-oriented text editor.
System requirements
Linux x86_64
Installation
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the WEBGUI and REST services:
> egosh user logon –u Admin –x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI REST
b. On each management host, create a directory (for example, /cwsfixes) and download the egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build527398.tar.gz and egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build527398.tar.gz packages to that directory.
c. Run the egoinstallfixes command to install the egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build527398.tar.gz and egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build527398.tar.gz packages:
> egoinstallfixes /cwsfixes/egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build527398.tar.gz
> egoinstallfixes /cwsfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build527398.tar.gz
NOTE: Running the egoinstallfixes command automatically backs up the current binary files to a fix backup directory for recovery purposes. Do not delete this backup directory; you will need it if you want to recover the original files. For more information on using this command, see the egoinstallfixes command reference.
d. Run the pversions command to verify the installation:
> pversions -b 527398

e. Delete all subdirectories and files in the following directories:
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*
>
rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/kernel/rest/workarea/*
(Optional) $ rm -rf $WLP_OUTPUT_DIR/webgui_hostname/gui/workarea/*
f. Clear your browser cache.
g. Start the WEBGUI and REST services:
> egosh service start WEBGUI REST
5. Uninstallation
If required, follow the instructions in this section to uninstall this interim fix from your cluster.
a. Log on to the master host as the cluster administrator and stop the WEBGUI and REST services:
> egosh user logon -u Admin -x Admin
> egosh service stop WEBGUI REST
b. Log on to each management host in the cluster and roll back this interim fix:
· To uninstall with the build number, enter:
> egoinstallfixes -r 527398
· To uninstall by specifying the full path to the interim fix package, enter (for example):
> egoinstallfixes -r /cwsfixes/egomgmt-3.7.0_noarch_build527398.tar.gz
> egoinstallfixes -r /cwsfixes/egocore-3.7.0_x86_64_build527398.tar.gz
c. Delete all subdirectories and files in the following directories:
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/work/*
>
rm -rf $EGO_TOP/gui/workarea/*
> rm -rf $EGO_TOP/kernel/rest/workarea/*
(Optional) $ rm -rf $WLP_OUTPUT_DIR/webgui_hostname/gui/workarea/*
d. Clear your browser cache.
e. Start the WEBGUI and REST services:
> egosh service start WEBGUI REST
