6. Installation and configuration

6.1 Before installation

Make sure to upgrade to Process Manager 10.2.0.7 before applying this patch. Log on to the IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager server as administrator, shut down lsf and jfd services, kill eauth_userpass.exe process, and clean up %LSF_ENVDIR%\passwd.lsfuser file.

6.2 Installation steps
  1. Back up the following files in your existing installation:
  2. Copy files from the Fix directory to your current installation to replace the old ones, and make sure the new files have the same user and group permissions with the original files:
  3. Start lsf and jfd services.

6.3 After installation

None

6.4 Uninstallation

Copy files from the backup to the current installation to restore the original files, and restart lsf and jfd services.
