IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 518767 Readme File

Abstract

P102968. Fix to enable slave hosts to join the cluster even if it does not share a file system with master hosts in an IPv6 environment.

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 518767 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

A slave host that does not share a file system with master hosts in an IPv6 environment cannot join the cluster. This fix is required if your site uses IPv6 and allows slave hosts that do not share a file system with master hosts (that is, has LSF_GET_CONF=lim defined in the lsf.conf file for the slave hosts). This fixes a library initialization problem.
