IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 514642 Readme File

Abstract

This fix adds "aff=no" to the -gpu option to relax GPU affinity while maintaining CPU affinity

Description

Readme documentation for IBM Spectrum LSF 10.1 Fix 514642 including installation-related instructions, prerequisites and co-requisites, and list of fixes.

This fix addresses the following issue:

The aff=no option is now supported in GPU requirements at the job level, application level, queue level and cluster level. The merge rule is the same as other -gpu option.

If both gtile and aff=yes are specified in GPU requirements, strict GPU-CPU affinity binding is disabled.

The bjobs output does not show "aff=yes" if "aff=yes" is specified in the bsub -gpu option.
